  • No. This is optional in Eugene IHS.

  • Check the fees page listed in the IB Handbook. IB exams are more expensive than AP for single tests, but the IB diploma cost is close to a “package” of AP tests.  Fees are $94 per exam. Note: The fees are based on published fees by the IB Organization and include a partial scholarship of $25 per IB exam from ODE. IB no longer charges a registration fee. These partial scholarships only apply to exams taken during the May 2023 session.

  • If you are not able to pay the fee in full by the due date we may be able to work out a payment plan. When families qualify for the free and reduced lunch program, we have been able to offer a reduced scholarship fee. Please talk to the Eugene IHS secretary on your campus about these fees.

  • No. Once fees have been sent to IBO they are non-refundable and non-transferable.

  • Junior and senior years in May.

  • Deadline for fees and registration is October 16th. Late registrations can be submitted, but they are costly.

  • You will be considered as a course candidate, and chance for possible college credit still exists.

  • You will receive a personal code and pin number in May which will allow you to view your results online in early July.

  • You fill out a form in May of senior year, and IB sends results. IB will send results to one college for free and you have to pay for others. You can go to the IBO website to request transcripts of results to be sent to additional colleges. If you don’t like the results, you can have them removed from your college record.
