Eugene IHS was one of the first schools in the district to have parent representatives on its governing board or site council, which was established in 1985. Opportunities for parent involvement have continued to expand and the school owes much to the support and commitment of our parents.

Site Council Members include Eugene IHS staff members, host-school administrators, and Eugene IHS parents and students.

If you are interested in joining the Eugene IHS Site Council please contact the Eugene IHS Head Teacher or one of our Eugene IHS offices. Meetings are the second Tuesday of each month, at 4:15 pm at South Eugene High School in room 538.

Our first meeting will be on Tuesday, October 10, 2023 from 4:15-5:15 at South Eugene HS in room 524.  For your planning purposes, you can plan for the following meetings this year at the same time and location:

• Tuesday, June 11 (only if needed to wrap up end-of-year topics)
